

Background
Bardha Buza is a renowned Albanian painter whose work explores the intersection of abstraction and the real, often drawing from personal and social narratives. A graduate of the Academy of Arts at the University of Prishtina, Buza has developed a visual language rooted in expressive forms and imagined landscapes. Over her four-decade career, she has participated in more than 80 solo and group exhibitions across Europe, including in France, Switzerland, Germany. Buza remains an influential figure in Kosovo’s contemporary art scene, known not only for her artistic output but also for her mentorship and active engagement in cultural initiatives.
